The pieces, size ranges, materials, guides, public holidays and pictures are part of the app. They are shown without any network connection and reveal nothing about you.

Your project stays on your phone. This policy covers the J&M Made-to-Measure Project app for Android; the note below covers this website.
This website
The website has no account, no cookies, no analytics and no external scripts or fonts. The planner keeps nothing: it runs in the page and forgets when you leave. WhatsApp opens with the summary in its link, so in a browser WhatsApp’s wa.me page receives that text; Email opens your own email app with the summary written in. J&M receives nothing until you press send there.

It covers the J&M Made-to-Measure Project app for Android and explains what happens to the information you enter in it.

What this notice covers
The notice covers the app on your phone: the kinds of pieces, sizes, materials, guides and public holidays it shows, the projects you keep, and the ways the app hands a project brief to you to send.

The projects you keep
For each project the app stores its name, the municipality, the kind of home, the date you need the pieces, its status, your notes and when you created and changed it.

Spaces and measurements
For each space the app stores its kind, its length, width and height, its doors and windows (wall, position and size), the floor and whether it is a covered terrace. It never asks for an address, a photo or a floor plan.

Pieces and materials
For each piece the app stores its kind, its sizes, the quantity, the base, the fabric family, the wood finish and your notes. The seats, distances and route results are worked out on your phone from those values.

The way in
If you fill in the way in (the route the pieces take to the room), the app stores each narrow point you add (doors, elevator, corridors, stairs, balcony) with its measurements and your notes about the building's moving rules.

Dates and the timeline
The app stores the date you need the pieces. It works out the approval date from the lead times, weekends and Colombian public holidays, on your phone.

An optional budget range
You may add a budget range to a project. It is optional, stays on your phone and is included in a brief only if you add it.

Your contact details
So that J&M can reply, a project can carry your name, a phone number and an email address. You type them yourself and only what you type is stored. The app does not ask for ID numbers, signatures or bank details.

Where your data is stored
Everything you enter is stored in the app's private storage on your phone, in a database other apps cannot read.
Android backup is turned off for the app, so this data is not copied to a cloud backup or to another phone.

No account, no cloud copy
The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is synchronised and no copy exists outside your phone unless you send it.

What the app does not collect
The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.

No internet access
The app does not request the Android internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.

Sending a brief by WhatsApp
When you tap Send on WhatsApp, the app opens WhatsApp with the brief written in a message to the J&M number you chose. Nothing is sent until you press send there.
WhatsApp's own terms apply to messages you send with it.

Email, share and copy
Email opens your own email app with the brief written in and addressed to J&M. Share opens the Android share sheet and Copy puts the brief on the clipboard. Nothing is sent until you send it there.
When you confirm that a brief went out on WhatsApp or by email, the app stores the time, the channel and the version, so it can show when the project was sent and whether it changed since. Share and Copy are not recorded.
A brief you send reaches J&M through the channel you used, for J&M to design and quote your project. Under Decreto 1377 de 2013 (art. 11) personal data may be kept only as long as is reasonable and necessary for that purpose; ask J&M for its data-handling policy and how long it keeps briefs.

Your choices and rights under Colombian law
You can edit, duplicate or delete projects at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone. Deleting a project does not withdraw anything you already sent.
For the personal data in a brief you sent, Ley 1581 de 2012 (art. 8) gives you the right to know, update and correct it; to ask JM MUEBLES Y DISEÑOS S.A.S. for proof of the authorisation you gave; to be told how it is used; to revoke the authorisation or ask for deletion when the law allows; and to access it free of charge.
Send a consulta (a question about your data) or a reclamo (a request to correct, update or delete it, or a complaint) to JM MUEBLES Y DISEÑOS S.A.S. first, at [email protected] or on WhatsApp +57 320 706 1425. Under arts. 14 and 15, a consulta is answered within 10 working days, extendable once by 5 more, and a reclamo within 15 working days, extendable by 8 more. If that does not settle it, you can complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), as art. 16 provides.

Changes and contact
If the app changes how it handles data, this notice is updated in a new version of the app and on the website, with a new effective date.
